Sony Malaysia is inviting fellow Malaysians to gather at Alpha Experience 2025, the country’s most anticipated imaging festival, is happening on 20–21 September 2025 at Confetti KL, Mines Wellness City. The two-day imaging festival is set to be a vibrant celebration of creativity, innovation, and community.
Whether you are just starting out in your creative journey or have plenty of experience, Alpha Experience 2025 is here to inspire you. Visitors can explore and try out Sony’s latest Alpha cameras and lenses in special touch-and-try zones, with help from Sony experts who will assist you in discovering new possibilities. The event aims to motivate you and provide new ideas, useful skills, and a refreshed excitement for visual storytelling.
The weekend will also include an exciting schedule of talks, live demos, and panel discussions led by both local and international creators. Topics will range from cinematic filmmaking to portrait photography and modern content creation, giving you the chance to learn from industry leaders and see how they turn their ideas into reality. For those who like hands-on experiences, interactive workshops will allow participants to try out lighting and workflow techniques.
A key highlight of this year’s festival will be the appearance of famous Thai street photographer Tavepong Pratoomwong, known for his award-winning storytelling that captures the humor and beauty of everyday life. Tavepong will lead the talks, sharing his insights and creative process, while also interacting with participants in a special session.
To make the event even more exciting, Alpha Experience 2025 will feature the finale of the “Road to Alpha Experience” photo contest. Attendees will be able to view the creativity of the finalists, while winners will take home exclusive prizes, including the sought-after Sony SEL2450G lens worth RM 5,699.
