Sony Malaysia and Dolby Laboratories has recently invited selected media to attend an exclusive workshop for the new BRAVIA TVs. The workshop, Held at Sony Store, BBCC Lalaport, offers attendees from media professionals, industry experts, and tech enthusiasts to witness the technology which now comes standard with Sony’s latest TV offerings.
With the theme of Cinema is Coming Home, guests were treated to a captivating demonstration of the BRAVIA 3’s capabilities.
With Sony’s BRAVIA 3 currently being the most affordable TV in this price range with Dolby Technology, the workshop highlighted the TV’s stunning 4K resolution, vibrant colours, and deep contrasts, all made possible by Dolby Vision’s dynamic HDR technology. Attendees marvelled at the lifelike visuals, noting the clarity and detail in both bright and dark scenes.
The immersive experience was further enhanced by Dolby Atmos, which delivered a rich, three-dimensional soundscape that brought the on-screen action to life. The audio demo included scenes from popular movies, where the sound of helicopters overhead and whispers from behind enveloped the audience, making them feel like they were in the middle of the action. Also, the workshop has showcased the BRAVIA Theatre Bar 8 and 9’s audio performance with Dolby Atmos.
