Son Heung-min becomes the latest athlete to join Team ROG

ASUS ROG has recently announced that footballer Son Heung-min is joining the Team ROG initiative. While his football skills are not debatable with his recent award for Golden Boot, Son is also an avid gamer.

Son Heung-min loves to play League of Legends and definitely with the cutting-edge ROG system, he will never missed a last hit, for sure. When he isn’t playing, he keeps up with the game by watching T1 and Faker flex their skills and hopes to find time to attend a League of Legends tournament in the future. In addition to League of Legends, Son also loves to play other games, such as FIFA.

“ROG is incredibly proud to welcome South Korean football star Son Heung-min to the growing Team ROG initiative,” said Galip Fu, Global Consumer Marketing Director for ROG. “More than a football player, Son is an avid gamer who’s just as competitive on his PC as he is on the football field. Son shows the same championship mentality that we at ROG strive for every day, and it is with this that I say with full confidence: this is only the beginning. Welcome to Team ROG, Sonny!”

“I am so happy to join Team ROG!” says Son Heung-Min about the new partnership. “I was impressed by the quality of the products, and I am proud to join this amazing brand as an ambassador! I look forward to working with ROG and I am excited about the upcoming projects.”

Son joins an ever-growing roster of incredible gamers, including Alan Walker, Loserfruit, Nyjah Huston, and Karl-Anthony Towns. These men and women have each carved out their own unique piece of the gaming world. From professional content creation to esports, each star reflects the brilliance of the gaming community. For more information on Team ROG, please visit the official website here: https://rog.asus.com/Team-ROG/
