Shell Malaysia has finally launched the new Shell App for the local market, aiming to enhance Malaysians fuelling experience by enabling fuel purchases from the comfort of your car.
According to the company, the new app is the first fuel payment app in the country that is protected by a 3-D Secure verification, which adds an extra layer of security to optimise a safer user experience against possible fraud and scam threats.
“In today’s fast-paced world, people expect convenience through innovation and choice. Given our synonymity in innovating mobility solutions, the Shell App serves as a pivotal component to elevate experiences for all our customers at Shell,” shared Seow Lee Ming, General Manager of Mobility, Malaysia.
“The Shell App not only allows our customers to pay for fuel securely from inside their cars but also ensures that all journeys are easier and more rewarding. Our aim is to enhance your experience and make things even more convenient for you.”
Users can redeem fuel, or their favourite croffle while earning rewards easily with the Shell App. The app is integrated with BonusLink to allow users to earn BonusLink points from 3,000 merchants as well as redeem Shell exclusive rewards.
Shell Malaysia also stated that the app can curate a personalised offer based on customers’ habitual preferences to enhance their experiences at Shell. The Shell App users are also able to track every spend and BonusLink points earned easily from the app.
The app also has a station locator feature, which allow users to find the nearest Shell station with facilities and amenities that suit your needs such as surau, ATM, Shell café or car wash. Shell Malaysia has confirmed that Shell App is currently available at 650 Shell service stations and this all-in-one app is expected to be available nationwide by the end of 2023.
