Samsung launches three-part Docu-Series to commemorate Skateboard, Breaking and Surfing communities on the Road to Paris 2024

Samsung Electronics, a Worldwide Olympic and Paralympic Partner, has launched a new documentary series to highlight skateboarding, breaking, and surfing on the Road to Paris 2024. The series, produced in collaboration with the Street League Skateboarding (SLS), Pro Breaking Tour (PBT), and World Surf League (WSL), features three short docu-series: “Concrete Dreams”, “Breaking Boundaries”, and “The Next Wave”. The series is a key part of Samsung’s Olympic and Paralympic Games Paris 2024 campaign, ‘Open always wins,’ which claims that with an open mind, anything is possible.

The skateboarding documentary, “Concrete Dreams”, tells the story of a community built on respect, encouraging people to see the world differently and create. The next documentaries, “Breaking Boundaries”, celebrate the global community of breakers preparing for their Olympic Games Paris 2024 debut, celebrating breaking as an explosion of energy and soul. The “Next Wave” documentaries share the stories of surf legends and icons in the making as they embark on their journey to Paris 2024, celebrating surf as a way of life passed down to generations and a culture that has not only survived but gotten stronger.

Samsung Electronics is excited to support the skateboarding, breaking, and surfing communities on their incredible journey to Paris 2024 and hopes that these docu-series inspire many to push boundaries, support each other, and always stay open. WSL EVP, Content Strategy and Production Tim Greenberg, expressed excitement about partnering with Samsung on this docu-series and sharing their story and culture with the world.

The future of women surfers is bright, and the Olympic Games provide a long-term vision for the sport.
