Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. just revealed the Galaxy S20 Fan Edition (FE), the newest member of the Galaxy S20 series. The Galaxy S20 FE 5G is a premium flagship smartphone that includes innovations Galaxy fans told requested they love most, made available at an accessible price point with a recommended retail price of RM3,399.
For the Malaysian market, Samsung Malaysia will be bringing in the 5G variant only which is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 865. You can only got one variant in Malaysia as well: 8GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage. It will also run Dual SIM model (Hybrid SIM slot) where the second slot can be used to expand the memory storage via MicroSD card up to 1TB.
The S20 FE now comes with 6 new colors which is Cloud Red, Cloud Orange, Cloud Lavender, Cloud Mint, Cloud Navy and Cloud White. This will made sure that Galaxy S20 FE user able to express themselves through their favourite colour. The premium textured haze effect will help to reduce fingerprints and smudges. The S20 FE also comes with a 6.5-inch Infinity-O Super AMOLED screen with a super smooth 120Hz refresh rate.Â
On the camera department, Galaxy S20 FE brings a pro-grade camera along with the 32MP selfie Camera including tetra-binning technology that lets you instantly capture a post-worthy picture. The rear camera spots a 12MP main shooter, a 12MP ultra-wide angle shooter and a 3x telephoto lens shooter that can zoom all the way to 30X Space Zoom. Oh, there is a Night Mode feature as well to make sure all your pics looked good even on low-light situation.
For battery life, the S20 FE now packs with a 4500mAH battery which also supports fast charging, wireless and reverse wireless charging. To make it even more reliable, the S20 FE is water and dust resistant IP68 rated. To give an assurance to S20 FE users, Samsung will provide three generations of Android operating system (OS) upgrades with the latest security protection and features Samsung has to offer.Â
Offered at a recommended retail price at RM3,399, the Galaxy S20 FE 5G will be available for pre-orders beginning from 24th September 2020, 10:00AM until 8th October 2020 (or while stocks last).
