Samsung’s Galaxy A17 5G/LTE and Galaxy A07 LTE will be available in Malaysia from 5th September 2025. These devices empower users with essential AI features for productivity and entertainment, enhanced security and privacy, and a sleek design—offering valuable experiences at accessible prices.
The Galaxy A17 incorporates popular features from the Galaxy S Series, enhancing Samsung’s goal of providing advanced AI experiences to a wider audience. Notable features include Gemini activation via the side button and Gemini Live for hands-free interactions across various apps. Additionally, Circle to Search with Google enables users to quickly access information by simply circling on the screen or identifying music playing nearby.
For low light adventures, the Galaxy A17 features enhanced optical image stabilization for shake-free videos and brighter images. It includes a triple camera system with a 5MP Ultrawide, 50MP Wide, and a 2MP sensor.
Users can enjoy smooth experiences with the 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display and an upgraded 90Hz refresh rate. The long-lasting battery and 25W Fast Charging ensure seamless connectivity throughout the day.
The Galaxy A17 and Galaxy A07 will receive six years of Android OS upgrades and security updates for a secure mobile experience. For security, Samsung’s Knox Vault ensures personal information is protected with tamper-resistant hardware. Additionally, the Galaxy A17 5G, A17 LTE, and A07 LTE have Theft Protection for remote locking and biometric authentication, along with Auto Blocker to prevent unauthorized app installations and malicious activity.
Designed to last, the rear bodies of the Galaxy A17 and A07 use Glass Fiber Reinforced Polymer (GFRP) for a stronger, lighter back cover. The Galaxy A17 features Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ for added durability and both models offer IP54 dust and water resistance.
With sleek designs, the Galaxy A series has lighter and slimmer bodies. The Galaxy A17 is 7.5mm thick, with the 5G and LTE variants weighing 192g and 190g, while the Galaxy A07 is 7.6mm thick and weighs 184g. The new Galaxy A17 5G and A07 LTE will launch in Malaysia on 5th September 2025, available in Black, Gray, and Blue for the A17 5G, and Light Violet, Green, and Black for the A07 LTE. The A17 LTE will be available starting 26 September 2025.
