Samsung recently won 16 awards, including Best of the Best for the OLED TV S95H and the Bespoke AI Laundry series at the Red Dot Design Award 2026. This is important because the winning products showcase Samsung’s new design strategy, “Expressive Design.”
“Expressive Design is our way of putting people at the center, celebrating their identity, emotions and diversity,” said Mauro Porcini, President and Chief Design Officer (CDO) of the Device eXperience (DX) Division at Samsung Electronics. “We design not only to function, but to create meaning and connection. Our ambition is to enrich people’s lives through experiences that are both purposeful and deeply human.”
The S95H features a unique FloatLayer design, combining a super-thin OLED display with a metal plate. This design makes it look like the OLED screen is floating in front of the shiny metal frame, creating an eye-catching effect. The strong contrast adds to the immersive experience, while the sleek silver frame fits smoothly in any room, looking like beautiful wall art.
On the other hand, the Bespoke AI Laundry appliances use a simple, unified design across various models like washing machines, dryers, and combos. This approach allows all the laundry products to blend well in different home styles.
Additionally, the Smart Screen — a large 7-inch LCD — improves user experience with easy-to-use controls. It works with SmartThings, enabling users to manage their smart devices and receive personalized AI solutions for a more convenient daily life.
All 16 Entries Recognized as Winners
Beyond its top honors, Samsung achieved the remarkable feat of having all 16 products it submitted selected as winners. The recognized lineup includes:
