Rolls-Royce Spectre officially available for booking in Malaysia with price starts from RM2mil

Rolls-Royce’s first fully electric vehicle, Spectre, has officially debuted in Malaysia on 5 September at JioSpace, Petaling Jaya. According to Rolls-Royce Malaysia, the world’s first ultra-luxury electric super coupé is currently on a regional tour and being shown to clients and media alike, providing a look into Rolls-Royce’s electric future.

Spectre brings a new chapter for Rolls-Royce Motor Car as the brand is aiming by the end of 2030, its entire product portfolio will be fully electric. The company has stated that Spectre represents a promise made, a prophecy kept and a remarkable undertaking. The ultra-luxury electric super coupé also demonstrates how perfectly the company is suited to electrification.

Spectre is powered by 2 electric motors that churns out a whooping 430kW (584 hp) and 900Nm of torque. It is also able to sprint to the century within 4.5 seconds. The battery on Spectre is rated at 102 kWh and has a range of 530km (329 miles) WLTP. For charging, the marque has stated that Spectre will take 34 minutes to charge from 10-80% with 195 kW (DC) max, 95 minutes to charge from 10-80% with 50 kW (DC) and 5 hours 30 minutes to charge from 0-100% with 22 kW (AC).

Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Kuala Lumpur has confirmed that Spectre will have a starting price from* RM 2,000,000 (before options and taxes). However, due to strong interest and demand for Spectre worldwide, the order bank is stretched through 2024. Owners of Spectre will also enjoy:

Four-year warranty, unlimited mileage (unless the car is for commercial use)

• 10-year warranty for battery

• Service inclusive covers maintenance costs, less consumables

• 24/7 roadside assistance

• In the event of charge depletion Rolls-Royce service will send Spectre to nearest charging station

• Regional flying doctor 24/7 on standby in extreme cases if Spectre “fails to proceed”

• All Rolls-Royce technicians in Malaysia are fully trained on Spectre with Electric certification, ahead of customer cars arriving in market Q4
