As reparations are starting for the World Labour Day Celebration and Rain Rave Water Music Festival, road users in Malaysia need to take notice there will be traffic management and road closure happening slightly earlier. This event will happen from 30 April to 2 May 2026 in Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur, and is expected to draw many visitors to the city.

To ensure the event runs smoothly and safely, there will be traffic measures and road closures in the Bukit Bintang area starting from 22 April 2026.
From 22 to 28 April 2026, some roads along Jalan Bukit Bintang will be partially closed from 11.00 pm to 5.00 am on weekdays, and from 12.00 am to 7.00 am on weekends, to help with event setup.
From 29 April to 2 May 2026, Jalan Bukit Bintang will be fully closed all day for the event.
During this time, vehicles will be redirected to Jalan Sultan Ismail, Jalan Raja Chulan, and Jalan Imbi.
The public is encouraged to use public transport to reach the city center. MRT, LRT, and Monorail services will be available to handle the increased number of passengers during the event.
Visitors are also advised to plan their journeys in advance and allow for additional travel time.
