Rizal Rasid has recently released his latest lively pop single titled ‘Tarikh Luput’, which also features Tish Errda, created by Amzar Razqa, Sabbala, Mekar and Tish Errda himself, and published by Warner Music Malaysia.
The last time Rizal appeared with his latest single was almost a year ago, he said, “Even though I haven’t appeared with any single for a long time, I’m still active singing at closed parties, corporate performances and at several universities.
“In addition, I am also developing my talents in acting and modeling, and recently I flew to Busan to do a special program with KBS World TV”, he added.
Asked about Rizal’s latest single, this song has a simple meaning, he explained, “In every relationship there will definitely be an ‘expiry date’ and it’s just a matter of time before it expires.
For the ‘Tarikh Luput’ single, Rizal tried something new in the melodic nuances that had never been performed before, which is a lively urban pop song with R&B elements, he also said, “Actually, I have sung lively songs before, but it was not my own song, and This single is my first single with a dance beat”.
“Honestly, I like to try something new, and as an artist, we have to be brave to experiment in order to grow as a performer”.
“Since this song is a lively song with a fast beat, I want to try to sing while dancing when I perform this song on stage later”.
In addition to Rizal, co-composer, Tish Errda also duets in this ‘Tarikh Luput’ single, he said, “Tish has her own vocal specialty, her voice tone is nice and soft to hear, and matches my vocals, so I decided to make her my duet partner in the song this.
“Considering that we both come from the opposite country, which is Brunei Darussalam and also Singapore, I feel that the combination of the two of us is quite unique.
The ‘Tarikh Luput’ single that has already been launched also features a music video (MV) with an urban and modern concept, with a display of the latest fashion and attractive lighting.
“I hope that this song can be accepted by many, especially the young people because of its simple meaning with a lively and entertaining melody, hopefully this song can boost my name all over Asia such as Malaysia, Brunei, Singapore, Indonesia and the surrounding countries,” concluded Rizal with full of hope.
The song ‘Tarikh Luput’ can be downloaded on iTunes and used as a ringtone for calls to all local telecommunication companies and can be heard at any time through online streaming applications such as Spotify, KKBox, Deezer, Apple Music and YouTube Music.
