Riyadh Air, the new national airline of Saudi Arabia, has announced that it will start selling tickets for three weekly flights between Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This new route will begin on July 30, 2026, and is an important part of the airline’s goal to connect Saudi Arabia with major cities around the world and provide excellent travel services.

Saudi Arabia and Malaysia have a strong trading relationship, with Saudi support for Malaysian development and ties focusing on the Hajj pilgrimage, education, and cultural exchanges. This relationship continues as Saudi Arabia welcomes Malaysian students to its prestigious universities in Medina and Mecca and assists Malaysian pilgrims traveling for the Hajj.

Starting July 30, 2026, Riyadh Air will operate three weekly flights between Kuala Lumpur (KUL) and Riyadh (RUH) using new Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners, which offer top-notch cabin interiors and passenger experiences.

At the same time, Riyadh gives Malaysian visitors new commercial prospects, lively entertainment, and easy connections to global cities like London, Manchester, and Madrid—making both capitals important gateways for trade and travel.
