Luqman Podolski has officially launched ‘Tak Sedar Diri’ on 6 September 2024, in collaboration with SYA. The essence of the song inspired by the scenario is basically interesting enough to appreciate as the lyrics are written cynically, full of meaning and connect with those who are not aware of themselves.
Explaining the matter, Luqman Podolski did refer to the situation experienced by some members of society who are unaware and do not understand their own situation.
“Many among us are not aware of our shortcomings and do not understand the situation we are facing. When they are not aware of the matter, many problems will arise afterwards.
“They often think that the matter is not a problem and end up acting beyond their true capabilities and causing more negative effects,” said Luqman Podolski.
Commenting further on the matter, Luqman Podolski who is under the management of Warner Music Malaysia considers that those who are not aware of themselves are usually narcissistic and can be referred to as arrogant.
Being too confident will sometimes make them not understand their own limitations and ultimately cause problems for others.
Considering this is a work that runs away from the norm, Luqman Podolski is grateful to be able to work with those who have extensive experience in the field of music, especially Bo Amir. The man’s prowess in the field of creation is admired based on some works that have been produced such as songs.
The singer who is popular with the song ‘Kalau Kau Rindu’ admitted that the recording process this time was a little awkward and unexpected. He himself did not expect to be able to work with so many great individuals throughout the process of recording and filming a music video (MV).
“When the recording process started, I was met with people who have extensive experience in the field of music. The process they went through was also very interesting and I myself learned a lot of new things from them.
“I am impressed with SYA who has a different vocal and pronunciation than other singers. She is an underrated singer and her voice has its own charm. So the combination this time complements each other,” added Luqman Podolski.
To add a unique element to the ‘Tak Sedar Diri’ script, the production team sought various input to create an intriguing music video. Inspired by the iconic Gotham City, popularized by Batman films, they aimed to infuse the video with a dark and gritty atmosphere.
The selection was not only focused on look and feel, but various ideas were worked on by Kinggolddigga, who acted as the director of the MV, which tells the story of a couple who have a storm of cold feelings.
Various conflicts arise when the relationship turns cold, crafted with good visuals until the end of the MV “Tak Sedar Diri,” which has been watched over 100,000 times less than a month after its release.
Luqman Podolski considers this to be a journey and a continuation of the mini album which is expected to be released in early 2025.
“According to the plan, I will be launching a mini album in January next year. More sound and music experiments will be produced in upcoming works. What I can promise is that they will be satisfied.
“For Tak Sedar Diri, this is a transition to something big. I am happy if the listeners are satisfied and accept this work,” said Luqman Podolski.
Tak Sedar Diri is a song completely created by Kim Manul, SYA and Bo Amir Iqram. This song was officially launched on September 6 on all digital platforms. The MV can be viewed via Black Cat Hat Records YouTube channel.
