Game collabs are getting more prominent over the years, along the way for this year, Ugreen has announced a collaboration with Honkai Star Rail to release a collection of products for gamers and casual users as well. They are available for global market and now available in Malaysia market as well.
I was given opportunity to review two products from the Ugreen x Honkai Star Rail Edition collection, the Nexode Pro 10,000 mAh Powerbank and 100W USB C to USB C retractable Charging Data cable. So, let’s dive deep on both products and let me explain about it as simple.
Ugreen x Honkai Star Rail Edition Nexode Pro 10,000 mAh Powerbank
Out of the box, the exclusive Yao Guang-inspired design is done quite well with the character featured prominently while the logo on the sides add more design touches. The finishing was excellent, therefore, fans of the Honkai will appreciate it. The body of the powerbank is compact, ideal for those looking to bring a smaller powerbank to last them throughout the day.
For the port selection, you actually have a USB-C port for input and output and a USB-A for output. If you forgot your cable, then you can rely on its integrated 22cm USB-C cable, that doubles as a carry strap. The integrated USB-C cable also outputs max 55W for Xiaomi devices, while other non-Xiaomi devices will max out at 45W.
The powerbank also has a smart display, displaying all the information you need to know from battery level, wattage output level to input or output power. Another key takeaway for the powerbank is that it is flight friendly with the 10,000 mAh carry-on limits.
Ugreen x Honkai Star Rail Edition 100W USB C to USB C retractable Charging Data cable
Again, the retractable Charging Data cable is heavily focused with Yao Guang design with an excellent finishing on the touch. The size also made it perfectly to just put it inside your bag or pouch.
The cable can extend to four presets: 15cm (6″), 27cm (10.5″), 38cm (15″), or 47cm (18.5″). It is tangle free and you just have to pull it gently to your desired length, and pull it again to easily tidy it up. The cable supports 100W Fast Charging with PD3.0 and QC3.0 technology to quickly charge MacBook Pro 16″ M4 to 42% in just 30 minutes. It also can deliver data transfer at a rate of 480 Mbps.
The retractable cable is also equipped with Smart E-Marker Chip for Safe Fast Charging. It also has intelligent output detection and distribution functions, allowing users to achieve optimal power control according to the status of the transmitting and charging devices. It is compatible for smartphone, laptop, tablet, and gaming console.
Recommendation
Honestly, if you’re a fan of the Honkai Star Rail, both are an excellent products to have especially if you’re heavily dependent with digital device for productivity, leisure and gaming. Even if you’re travelling a lot, the Powerbank is going to be a wise choice to have since it is flight friendly and when you need to charge or transfer data, the retractable Charging Data cable is ready to assist without being messy.
However, if you’re a power user, you might find the 10,000 mAh Powerbank may not be enough for you.
Verdict
The Ugreen x Honkai Star Rail Edition Nexode Pro 10,000 mAh Powerbank gets 8.8 out of 10, thanks to awesome finishing, adequately fast charging support and nifty compact size to travel around. As for the Ugreen x Honkai Star Rail Edition 100W USB C to USB C retractable Charging Data cable, I will give it an 8.3 out of 10, as it is quite useful to have if you really require it for your productivity or daily task usage.
