xPON with Wi-Fi 7 and Flexible Ethernet Solution
As fiber optic networks grow, telecom operators are upgrading bandwidth and improving Wi-Fi standards for a better user experience. Realtek’s xPON solution works with Realtek’s Wi-Fi chip, supporting the latest Wi-Fi 7 technology. This offers customers different Wi-Fi 7 options (BE3600, BE6500, and BE7200). Additionally, by integrating Realtek’s Switch and PHY solutions, the Ethernet configuration of xPON becomes more varied (2.5GE/5GE/10GE). Realtek’s new xPON solution also enhances power management to comply with future international power standards (CoC 9.0 or later).
Last Mile Solution for Automotive Ethernet
Over the last 10 years, the growth of ADAS and smart cockpits has led to significant improvements in in-vehicle Ethernet connectivity, now exceeding 100Mbps. Today, Automotive Ethernet can achieve speeds of up to 10Gbps, serving as a vital communication link for central computing units, zonal ECUs, LiDAR, and Radar. The next development in Automotive Ethernet aims at a 10Mbps low-speed connection for sensing and controlling devices at the end node. To support this, Realtek has introduced a 10BASE-T1S integrated PHY with a Multidrop feature, which reduces the need for multiple transceivers and simplifies software integration through a complete Ethernet protocol. Realtek’s 10BASE-T1S offers a strong solution for automakers looking to extend their automotive Ethernet systems all the way to the final connection.
Smart TV and Intelligent Display Technology
Smart TVs keep improving audio and video technology for a better user experience. Realtek provides complete solutions for smart TVs and displays, meeting different customer needs. By integrating AI and Realtek’s own algorithms, these TVs are now called AI smart TVs.
