Ranhill SAJ is partnering with Yes to launch a new program aimed at helping Johor families lower their living costs and improve internet access in the area.
Eligible residents who sign up for Yes 5g advanced Broadband plans will get a monthly voucher of RM10.50 for their water bill for the first six months. This combines two important services—clean water and internet access—to support families and enhance Johor’s smart city and digital transformation efforts.
Interim Chief Executive Officer Ranhill SAJ, Mohd Hedzir Hanafi said the collaboration reflects the company’s commitment to supporting the well-being of Johor communities. “Our role goes beyond delivering safe and reliable water services. We are committed to improving everyday living for the households we serve. Through this collaboration with Yes, we are able to introduce meaningful savings for families while encouraging greater digital engagement through the Ranhill SAJ app. It is another step towards building a more connected and digitally empowered Johor.”

Yes, Malaysia’s Most Advanced 5G Network supports the initiative, being the first telco to introduce 5G Advanced technology in the country.
Yes Broadband plans offer households uncapped 5G advanced data from RM68 per month, along with water bill savings. Customers receive a free premium router and a year of iQIYI access, valued at over RM1,300. The convenient plug-and-play home WiFi solution needs no wired installation for quick connectivity.
Chief Executive Officer of YTL Communications, Wing K. Lee said the partnership demonstrates how connectivity can work together with essential services to support communities. “Reliable internet connectivity has become a necessity for households today. Through this collaboration with Ranhill SAJ, we are proud to bring Malaysia’s Most Advanced 5G Network into more Johor homes while helping families enjoy additional savings on their water bills.”
Beyond financial relief, this collaboration aims to boost digital engagement among Johor residents. Customers are encouraged to download the Ranhill SAJ mobile app to manage their water accounts and receive updates.
