After 2 years of hiatus, the Rainforest Challenge (RFC) Malaysia Grand Final Event will be officially taking place from 26 November to 8 December 2022. This year’s grand final race marks the 25th Edition and endorsed by Tourism Malaysia.
The race will be taking place at an entirely new location at Lake Bera, the river of Peninsular Malaysia of Pahang. It is touted as the biggest and latest, referred to as “Amazon” which makes it an ideal venue for adventure tourism.
This year’s event will also see adventure sports participants and media from 18 nations such as as Italy, UK, France, Czech Republic Germany, US, Colombia, Ecuador, Thailand, Philippines, Vietnam, Indonesia, India, Japan and Korea. The vehicles used by the participants are 4×4 pickup, ATV, next generation of leisure class outdoor campers, motoring lifestyle, Enduro Rider and Radio Controlled (RC) Racing using RFC format.
The RFC Malaysia Grand Final Event will be holding registrations and exhibitions at MsExpo, held at Tropicana Gardens Mall from 26-27 November 2022. The vehicle scrutineering at Bera, Pahang will be happening on 28-29 November 2022 as the Opening Ceremony will kick off on 30 November. The race will start on the 30 November until 7 December with the Closing Award happening on 8 December 2022. The event will be providing a livestream for audiences around the globe to catch the action!
