As our previous article has explained everything about the PlayStation 5 Pro, PlayStation.Blog has officially updated with the pricing for PlayStation 5 Pro in Malaysia and Singapore. PlayStation 5 Pro will launch in Malaysia and Singapore on 7 November 2024 with Suggested Retail Price (SRP) of RM 3,849/SGD 1,069, respectively.
A quick recap on the PlayStation 5 Pro:
- Upgraded GPU: PS5 Pro gets an upgraded GPU that has 67% more Compute Units than the current PS5 console and 28% faster memory. Overall, this enables up to 45% faster rendering for gameplay, making the experience much smoother.
- Advanced Ray Tracing: Sony has added even more powerful ray tracing that provides more dynamic reflection and refraction of light. This allows the rays to be cast at double, and at times triple, the speeds of the current PS5 console.
- AI-Driven Upscaling: The PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution, an AI-driven upscaling that uses a machine learning-based technology to provide super sharp image clarity by adding an extraordinary amount of detail.
Other noticeable updates are PS5 Pro Game Boost, Enhanced Image Quality for PS4 games, Wi-Fi 7, VRR and 8K gaming.
Pre-order will begin from September 26, 2024 in participating retailers.
