It was confirmed that the very first Pandem-kitted GR Yaris will be unveiled at Tokyo Auto Salon Kuala Lumpur from 9-11 June at the Malaysia International Trade & Exhibition Centre (MITEC). The Pandem GR Yaris will be one of 14 striking local exhibits to be put up by Malaysia’s very own RS Auto Accessories.
The Pandem GR Yaris features a show-stopping wide body kit which increases the car’s presence by 200mm both at the front and rear. The kit features a front lip, front diffuser, side canards, side skirts, front and rear with arches, a rear spoiler and rear bumper ducts. The car’s stance is further accentuated by a set of 21C 18” inch Rays negative offset wheels wrapped in RE 71RS Bridgestone Potenza tyres for spirited driving and performance.
A GT Auto turbo kit, a MOTEC ecu, venture intake and custom exhaust system meanwhile sees the Pandem GR Yaris producing approximately 320bhp at low boost with a capability of reaching 500bhp. The car is also fitted with a GR full roll-cage.
“Our customer wanted something that would truly stand out and hence the Pandem kit fulfills the criteria with its incredible presence and stance,” said Director of RS Auto Accessories Alan Yeoh.
RS Auto Accessories which is headquartered in Butterworth, Penang, specializes in the tuning and body kit for both Japanese and Continental models and has been a distributor for Varis, Boost Logic performance parts and Brabus among other brands, since 2009.
The company will showcase a total of 14 cars at Tokyo Auto Salon Kuala Lumpur, among them a Top Secret (Version 2) carbon wide body Nissan GTR, and GTRs kitted by famed tuners Varis, APR and NISMO. Also on display will be a FK8 Civic Type R, two more GR Yaris by HKS and Varis, an ADRO-kitted BMW M4 and a Varis Mitsubishi Evolution 9 MR.
In addition to local and international exhibitors, Tokyo Auto Salon Kuala Lumpur will also feature a beautiful line-up of race queens from Japan. A number of performances and workshops have also been curated for the show and early bird ticket buyers will be in the running for a lucky draw to win 2 pairs of an all-expense paid trip to the Tokyo Auto Salon in Japan in 2024.
