OPPO Malaysia has launched the new A7 Pro Series 5G lineup featuring the A7 Pro 5G and A7 Pro Max 5G. The series offers a combination of smart AI camera features, long-lasting battery endurance, and sustained system smoothness, allowing the devices to deliver reliable everyday performance wrapped in a nature-inspired design.
Exquisite Nature-Inspired Design and Immersive Screen
Both the A7 Pro 5G and A7 Pro Max 5G are inspired by the calming colours of nature. The A7 Pro 5G features a 3D Wave Texture that creates a layered look in the light, and it comes in three colors: Surfing Blue, Shine Titanium, and Bloom Pink with a smooth gradient.
It has a sleek design with a horizontal camera decoration and a 6.57-inch FHD+ AMOLED display that has a 120Hz refresh rate, a 92.8% screen-to-body ratio, and can reach up to 1,400 nits brightness.
The A7 Pro Max 5G, on the other hand, offers Surfing Blue and Lunar Black finishes. It also has a camera decoration with a gentle curve and a Multi-Color Breathing Light for customizable notifications.
Its front display is a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED Ultra Bright screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and can reach up to 1,800 nits brightness. This provides about 30% more detail than the previous model, resulting in sharper text and vibrant visuals.
Creative Imaging for Everyday Storytelling
The A7 Pro Series features a flexible 50MP camera on both the front and back. Each model comes with a 50MP Ultra-Wide AI Zoom Selfie Camera that has a 100° view, making it easy to take portraits and group selfies. The AI Auto Wide Angle Switch detects how many people are in the picture and changes between 1x and 0.6x zoom automatically. For realistic portraits, Natural Tone adjusts colors and skin tones while keeping textures natural.
The A7 Pro 5G has an improved 1/2-inch CMOS main sensor that captures 70% more light than the previous version, resulting in better photos in low light. The A7 Pro Max 5G includes Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS), AI Night Mode, and advanced Image Optimisation. Its rear Power Flash provides extra light when needed. Built-in AI editing tools make editing easier: AI Portrait Glow suggests four adjustable lighting options, AI Popout allows subjects to stand out from the frame, and AI Remix Collage combines photos with animated stickers for unique creations.
Sustained Smoothness Meets Hardware Power
Beyond photography, the A7 Pro Series is designed to perform well during daily use. The A7 Pro 5G is powered by the energy-efficient 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 6360 MAX Mobile Platform, offering about a 10% performance improvement over the last model. To ensure steady connectivity and manage heat, it includes the NetworkBoost Chip S1 and AI LinkBoost 4.0, along with AI GameBoost 3.0 and a large 4,300mm² Glacier VC Vapour Chamber.
The A7 Pro Max 5G uses the advanced 4nm Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 Mobile Platform, which helps lower power use and improve heat management. It features a bigger 5,000mm² SuperCool VC system and Dual-Chip Smoothness Enhancements, combining the NetworkBoost Chip S1 with a dedicated Touch Response Chip for quicker and more accurate multi-finger use.
Both devices use OPPO’s Adaptive Scheduling Architecture and Collaborative Memory Scheduling to make the best use of system resources and allow smooth multitasking. Having passed OPPO’s strict 6-year smoothness testing, the series includes ColorOS Smoothness Boost for ongoing system improvements through OTA updates.
Intelligent Power Management and All-Weather Durability
The A7 Pro 5G features an 8,000mAh battery that retains over 80% capacity after 2,000 charge cycles, ensuring a 6-year lifespan with reverse wired charging.
The A7 Pro Max 5G has a 10,000mAh battery that also retains over 80% capacity but after 1,500 cycles. It supports 80W SUPERVOOC Flash Charge for a full recharge in about 91 minutes. Both models are designed with IP69K water and dust resistance and military-grade shock resistance for durability.
