OPPO A17 launches in Malaysia for RM599; packs with 50MP Camera and 5000mAh Battery

OPPO has debuted the latest OPPO A17 in Malaysia with the key selling point of the device are 50MP camera and a 5000mAh long-lasting battery.

The A17 uses OPPO’s Ultra-Slim Retro Design with a flat-edged middle frame and smoothed edges, giving the phone its sleek, premium, and trendy appearance. The device is weight just at 189g with a thickness of around 8.29mm, allowing users for easier to hold and operate in any situation. 

The back cover of the OPPO A17 is made using a composite processing technique, making the phone look and feel like genuine leather. The inner texture is embossed with light leather grain and the outer layer is covered with a UV coating, making the phone comfortable to hold, but also dust-resistant and durable.  

The OPPO A17 is powered by the MediaTek Helio G35 and paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. The device offers OPPO’s RAM Expansion technology where the phone’s RAM capacity can be expanded by borrowing up to 4GB of unused ROM, allowing the device to run multiple memory-heavy apps with less lag.

The device also runs OPPO’s ColorOS 12.1 out of the box. The OPPO A17 is available at the recommended retail price of RM599 with 4GB + 64GB and comes in Lake Blue and Midnight Black colours.
