The National Community Basketball League (NCBL) will resume its 16th season and expected to start on January 9th, 2021. Pusat Pakaian Hari-Hari Sdn Bhd will continue becoming the Title Sponsor for 4th consecutive time with NCBL. The basketball league is expected to take place at 3 venues: UCSI University, SJK (C) Kwong Hon and MABA Stadium.
Pusat Pakaian Hari-Hari is one of the leaders in the Malaysian clothing industries will be sponsoring the event as the Title Sponsor with a financial aid of RM60,000 for 2 years. These include attires for officials and technical crews. Meanwhile, Molten, Gatorade, Supersports, PEAK, Bauerfield, Capsters Hijau and MVP Basketball Academy will be the Co-Sponsor for the event.
The organiser claimed there will be 130 teams expected to take part in the 2021 league. It will be divided into 4 categories; (1) Men’s Division 1 to Division 4, (2) Women’s Division 1 and 2, (3) Men’s Veteran and (4) Junior Boys Under 18 and Under 15.
The Grand Champion will walk away with the The Menteri Besar Sealangor Champions Trophy and a cash prize of RM5,000. For 1st Runner-Up and 2nd Runner-Up position, the teams will received cash prize of RM2,500 and RM1,500 respectively. Winners for other dicisions and categories will also receive cash prizes, trophies, medals and sponsor goodies.
