Malaysian Genomics Resource Centre Berhad (MGRC) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Twistcode Technologies to develop the Bioinformatics Enhanced-Accelerated Services Terminal (B.E.A.S.T), a platform designed to revolutionize bioinformatics services in Malaysia and the Middle East. The MoU aims to explore collaborative opportunities in research, development, and commercialisation, focusing on developing advanced bioinformatics tools and integrating artificial intelligence to accelerate bioinformatics processes.
Executive Chairman Azri Azerai expressed enthusiasm for the partnership, stating that it will enhance MGRC’s capabilities in genomics and biopharmaceuticals and set new benchmarks in bioinformatics. Twistcode Technologies’ Chief Executive Officer, Nurazam Malim, emphasized the partnership’s significance in harnessing AI in healthcare and emphasized the partnership’s potential to enhance technological capabilities and create substantial value for the bioinformatics community.
