MG Cyberster price officially announced at KLIMS 2024

The MG Cyberster price tag has been officially announced at KLIMS 2024, at an attractive price of RM319,900 (before registration fees, without insurance). The launch event was graced by Yang Berhormat Anthony Loke Siew Fook, Minister of Transport of Malaysia along with Emory QiFeng, Managing Director, Lee Wen Hsiang, Chief Operating Officer of SAIC Motor Malaysia and other distinguished guests.

The MG Cyberster is the brand’s first all-electric roadster first in Malaysia, delivering 503 PS (375 kW), 725 Nm of torque, and a 0-100 km/h acceleration in just 3.2 seconds. Its 77kWh battery offers a 446 km range and supports fast charging from 10% to 80% in just 38 minutes. The Cyberster features a bold, low-profile silhouette, retractable scissor doors, 20-inch alloy wheels, and a luxurious sports interior with advanced infotainment and Bose audio. The EV roadster also comes equipped with MG Pilot’s suite of safety features. 

Customers can choose from four vibrant colours, which are Dynamic Red, Camden Grey, Inca Yellow, and English White. The Dynamic Red and Camden Grey options feature black and red interiors, while Inca Yellow and English White come with grey interiors. All models are enhanced by a sleek black hood.

At the Kuala Lumpur International Mobility Show (KLIMS), SAIC Motor Malaysia showcased a range of MG vehicles including the MG5, MG HS SUV, and the new MG4 EV Concept Edition. The company also previewed the upcoming MG3 HEV, MG7, and MG ZS HEV, highlighting the brand’s expansion and commitment to bringing more options to Malaysian.

Special offers are available for those booking MG models at the event. The MG5 and MG HS are being offered with rebates of RM7,000 and RM5,000, respectively. Buyers of the MG ZS EV, MG4 EV Lux, and MG4 EV Standard will enjoy up to 20 months of free instalments valued at RM26,000, RM16,000, and RM8,500, respectively.
