McDonald’s Malaysia rains ‘Fries From The Skies’ with fans for International French Fry Day 2026 and announced the return of Fans Fries Meal

For this year’s International French Fries Day, McDonald’s Malaysia celebrated it with ‘Fries From The Skies’, a one-night-only activation at McDonald’s Bukit Bintang and announced the return of the fan-favourite Fans Fries Meal. Inspired by Malaysians’ love for McDonald’s World-Famous Fries, the Fans Fries Meal is available for a limited time, featuring an XXL serving of fries, XXL Sos Cili Mekdi, and a drink.

‘Fries From The Skies’ transformed Bukit Bintang into a vibrant stage celebrating McDonald’s beloved French fries. Digital screens built anticipation for the return of the Fans Fries Meal, turning the city into a playful tribute to how Malaysians enjoy fries.

The highlight was the showering of McDonald’s French fries-themed plushies, each with a redemption card, creating excitement among fans below. As they eagerly caught the plushies, the activation turned a simple meal into an unforgettable experience, playful and distinctly McDonald’s.

“At McDonald’s Malaysia, we are not just in the business of serving meals – we’re in the business of creating delicious feel-good moments for Malaysians. Whether it’s a bold visual spectacle or a simple shared meal, we’re always finding fresh, creative ways to connect with our customers and bring joy to their everyday lives,” said Chin Mei Lee, Chief Marketing Officer, McDonald’s Malaysia.

The Fans Fries Meal is available at all McDonald’s restaurants nationwide from 10 to 12 July 2026, priced at RM10, while stocks last.
