Maxis presents Hari Raya film ‘Makna Raya Si Menantu’ in the spirit of celebrating meaningful connections

Maxis has launched its Hari Raya Aidilfitri campaign this year themed ‘Spirit of Aidilfitri shining through as meaningful connections are made’ which celebrates meaningful connections among loved ones. 

Embracing the festive theme, Maxis’ ‘Makna Raya Si Menantu’  film narrates the story of a newlywed who embraces the celebration and routines of Hari Raya Aidilfitri with his new extended family. The film showcases a unique take on how new families bond using the backdrop of an extended family’s Hari Raya Aidilfitri at their kampung.

“For this year’s Maxis Hari Raya campaign, we’ve decided to take the approach of showcasing how it’s like to celebrate for the first time with our in-laws – a very relatable experience for newlyweds. Although the experience may be overwhelming or different than what we may be familiar with, the true spirit of Aidilfitri shines through as meaningful connections are made. We hope viewers can relate and enjoy watching it,” said Loh Keh Jiat, Chief Marketing Officer of Maxis.
