
Maxis and AmBank Group has recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on accelerating digital transformation in Malaysia’s healthcare sector. Together, both parties will drive the adoption of cutting-edge solutions powered by connectivity across the healthcare ecosystem, combining Maxis’ extensive digital capabilities with AmBank’s comprehensive financial solutions.
The collaboration was formalised through a partnership announcement held at the Malaysia International Healthcare (MIH) Megatrends 2024 conference, in the presence of YB Fahmi Fadzil, Minister of Communications Malaysia, Datuk Mohamad Fauzi bin Md Isa, Secretary General of the Ministry of Communications, and Tan Sri Mohamad Salim bin Fateh Din, Chairman of the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC). Maxis was represented by Goh Seow Eng, Chief Executive Officer, while AmBank Group was represented by Jamie Ling, Group CEO.
By enabling the adoption of connectivity and digital solutions, this collaboration seeks to enhance service delivery, accessibility to medical services, and infrastructure across the healthcare ecosystem. AmBank will work closely with Maxis to make financing more accessible to healthcare solutions.
