Malaysian animation, Mechamato, premieres on Cartoon Network from 4th December

Mechamato is ready to entertain in Malaysia and around Asia as it will be premiering on 4 December 2021, only on Cartoon Network (Astro Ch 615 HD).

The series will focus on a boy named Amato who becomes the master of a destroyer robot called Mechabot with the ability to mechanize objects. Together they track down other robots that escaped from a prison ship that crash landed on Earth.

Leslie Lee, Head of Cartoon Network in Asia Pacific

“In amongst all the action and the jokes, Mechamato is a story about companionship, imagination and innovation,” says Leslie Lee, Head of Cartoon Network in Asia Pacific. “Kids are going to love it!”

A cool fact about the cartoon: it’s created by Monsta based in Cyberjaya in Malaysia. Monsta’s Chief Content Officer and Mechamato showrunner, Anas Abdul Aziz, added: “Mechamato is about the friendship between Amato, a boy with crazy ideas, and MechaBot, a robot with the ability to materialize those ideas into cool mechanizations. The show is packed with action, humour, and tons of interesting characters and robots. We hope Mechamato will encourage kids to be more creative and innovative in their daily lives.”

You can catch Mechamato exclusively on Cartoon Network (Astro Ch 615 HD). The first and second episodes debut at 3.00pm on Saturday and Sunday, December 4 and 5, respectively, with new episodes premiering every weekend at the same time thereafter.

It is also reported Mechamato will have more on screens and fan-art competitions in 2022 as well.
