iCAUR officially debuted in Malaysia at the Malaysia Autoshow 2025, positioned as a dedicated off-road New Energy Vehicle (NEV) brand.
Malaysia is the first ASEAN country to launch iCAUR, a product of collaboration between Chery and SmartMi Tech, after its global debut at Auto Shanghai 2025 last month.
“Intelligence, Innovation, Interaction and most of all—Born to Play! iCAUR goes beyond a means of transport; it’s an extension of you—crafted for the explorers, trendsetters, the young and the young at heart,” said iCAUR Malaysia Vice President, Emily Lek.
“We have forged an undeniable imprint in Malaysia and look forward to forging new opportunities, leveraging our leadership in new energy technology and mobility solutions,” she added.
iCAUR enters Malaysia with a vision to lead the off-road New Energy Vehicles (NEVs) segment, appealing to individualism and self-expression through innovative products.
At the Malaysia Autoshow 2025, iCAUR previewed three electric SUVs—the 03, 03T, and V23—with the iCAUR 03 set to launch first in Q3 2025.

Born for the city yet built for adventure, the iCAUR 03 combines bold aesthetics with full-electric performance, available in 2-Wheel Drive (2WD) and Intelligent Wheel Drive (iWD) configurations. The 2WD variant features a 135kW rear-mounted motor with 220Nm of torque and a 65.7 kWh battery offering up to 426 km range (NEDC). The iWD model provides a combined 205kW and 385 Nm of torque from a front axle motor and a 69.8 kWh battery for up to 418 km range (NEDC).
Equipped with technology suites—iCARE, iBRAND, and iROAD—the iCAUR 03 offers a reinforced all-aluminium body, six selectable drive modes for various terrains, a premium 12-speaker INFINITY sound system, and a 540-degree ‘Transparent Chassis’ camera. The advanced digital cockpit includes a 15.6-inch central display and a 9.2-inch driver information cluster. Safety features under its Level 2.5 driver assistance suite encompass Emergency Lane Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control, and Traffic Jam Assist. Fast charging at 80 kW (DC) enables charging from 30% to 80% in just 30 minutes, ensuring the iCAUR electric SUV is ready for both daily commutes and weekend adventures.
iCAUR Malaysia is inviting Registrations of Interest (ROI) for the iCAUR 03. Customers can secure their booking with a fully refundable deposit of RM1,000. The 2WD variant is estimated at RM145,000, while the iWD variant is RM155,000. Customers booking during the Malaysia Autoshow 2025 will receive a limited-edition iCAUR 03 scale model upon delivery in Q3 2025. Also previewed are the iCAUR V23—combining classic off-road features with electric power—and the bold iCAUR 03T, designed for urban settings.
iCAUR’s Malaysian Charge Starts Now
Marking its commitment to Malaysia, iCAUR also announced the signing of its first eleven dealer partners nationwide—with more to come as the brand expands across the country.
Lek further emphasised the brand’s decisive entry, “Today is more than just a brand launch—it’s a statement: iCAUR is here.”
