MAGGI Kari-Lah Karnival take over The Exchange TRX from 28–31 August 2025; sets to record as Malaysia’s Largest Gathering of MAGGI Kari Lovers

Nestlé Malaysia has announced they are hosting the MAGGI Kari-Lah Karnival from 28–31 August 2025, The Exchange TRX, Raintree Plaza. The event is set to be the first and largest MAGGI Kari fan gathering Malaysia has ever seen as the four-day length brings together chefs, celebrities, creators, and Malaysians from all walks of life for a celebration of taste, senses, and stories.

“This carnival is about connection. Makan together, share stories and discover new ways to enjoy a flavour we all love” said Ivy Tan Link Cheh, Business Executive Officer of MAGGI, Malaysia and Singapore. “Bring your family and friends! Build your dream bowl, learn a new hack and celebrate what MAGGI Kari means to Malaysians today”

At the heart of the carnival is the Makan Makan Food Village, showcasing MAGGI Kari’s versatility — from comfort to gourmet reinventions. Celebrity chefs have teamed up with your favourite restaurants to serve bold new takes on the classic bowl:

  • Chef Fikree
  • Chef Amir Gani
  • Chef Jia Le Woh
  • Murni Discovery
  • NZ Curry House
  • Mamak Spices Corner
  • Pokok by Brickhouse
  • Serai

Beyond the special dishes from chefs, fans can enjoy classic mamak-style favorites or visit the MAGGI Kita Bistro to create their own personalized kari bowl.

Guests can explore fun stations filled with the sights, sounds, and tastes of MAGGI Kari, learning all about what MAGGI Kari means.

To make the carnival even more exciting, the Main Stage will host live cooking demonstrations, interactive games, and amazing performances. Music acts like Bil Musa, Yonnyboii, Asyraf Nasir, and Aisha Retno, along with creators such as Squigglymack and Hungry Sam, will join the celebration, all coming together for Malaysia’s love for a delicious bowl of MAGGI Kari. The call is out: MAGGI Kari fans, this is your moment — the biggest gathering in the nation for this beloved dish.

The MAGGI Kari-Lah Karnival is part of a countrywide celebration that has already started. Recently, roadshows in Sarawak, Sabah, and Penang attracted thousands of Malaysians with fun activities, giant noodle packs, and exclusive giveaways, all honoring the past and future of MAGGI Kari. The journey continues, with more stops planned in the East Coast and Johor Bahru. Whether you come to eat, take photos, or share your story — there’s still time to join the fun.
