The official launch of the highly-anticipated all-electric Emeya Hyper-GT marked the opening of Lotus Cars Malaysia’s first Flagship Store in Kuala Lumpur. The Flagship Store, spanning 1,765 sq ft with a main showroom covering 987 sq ft, signifies a significant milestone for the brand’s sales network expansion in Malaysia. This new store complements the Lotus Store at Pavilion Damansara Heights, which opened earlier this year.
At Lotus Kuala Lumpur, customers can enjoy two bespoke delivery bays, a comfortable lounge area, a dedicated merchandising section, and a configurator room for personalizing their vehicles. Customers can choose from various options like the Lotus Dynamic Handling Pack and additional Driving Aid features. The Emira, the star attraction at Lotus Kuala Lumpur, is the brand’s first electric four-door Hyper-GT designed for an exceptional driving experience. With 75 years of motorsport heritage and cutting-edge innovation, the Emira offers pure driving pleasure. It is available in three variants – Emira, Emira S, and Emira R.

The Emeya is a GT car equipped with all-wheel drive and Lotus ICC intelligent torque distribution, offering a unique driving experience. It features an electronically controlled air suspension system that ensures a comfortable and controlled drive. The Emeya boasts a high-powered dual-motor configuration and advanced transmission, delivering impressive performance with top speeds of over 250km/h. Aerodynamic features, including an active front grille, air dam, and rear diffuser, provide class-leading downforce and stability.
In terms of charging, the Emeya has a WLTP driving range of up to 610km and can gain an additional 150km in just five minutes with a 350kW DC charger. The vehicle is also equipped with advanced driver assistance technology, offering real-time road information and various safety features such as obstacle warnings and blind-spot monitoring.
The Emeya’s interior focuses on sustainability with materials like repurposed fibres, PVD aluminium, Alcantara, Nappa leather, and Ultrafabrics PU. The cabin combines luxury materials and tactile surfaces while providing a minimalist yet intelligent cockpit with an intuitive infotainment system. Entertainment is ensured by the KEF audio system, offering a immersive sound experience with Dolby Atmos technology.
The Emeya also features Road Noise Cancellation (RNC) technology, which blocks exterior noise from the cabin. Vibration sensors detect motion in the tyres and suspension, generating anti-phase acoustic signals to counteract interference and providing a high-fidelity audio experience.

Lotus recently unveiled the Emira Turbo, a premium sports car built on a lightweight bonded aluminium chassis, a technology synonymous with the company. With a design inspired by the Evija, the Emira Turbo boasts a powerful 360 hp mid-mounted engine that can go from 0-100km/h in just 4.4 seconds and reach a top speed of 290km/h. Priced at RM509,000, it offers rapid shifts thanks to its 8-speed dual-clutch transmission.
Furthermore, Lotus Cars Malaysia introduced a new variant of the Eletre, an all-electric hyper sports utility vehicle positioned below the Eletre S and Eletre R models. Priced from RM598,800, the Eletre offers buyers a more affordable entry point into the world of all-electric hyper SUVs, while still allowing for customization. The vehicle comes with a single-speed system delivering 603 hp and 710 Nm of torque, allowing for a 0-100 km/h time of 4.5 seconds and a top speed of 258 km/h, with a maximum WLTP driving range of 600 km on a single charge.
