Lotus Cars Malaysia introduces updated Price List for Eletre and Emira Range

Lotus Cars Malaysia has announced an update for the pricing of the fully-electric Eletre Hyper-SUV and the premium Emira sports car, effective immediately.

The revised pricing is due to developments of the ringgit against all major foreign currencies in recent months.

Following the initial price indication announced during its Malaysian launch in April, the suggested retail price for the mid-range Eletre S is now RM698,000 (up from RM648,000), while the range-topping Eletre R now costs RM838,000 (up from RM798,000). Prices listed for the Eletre are applicable in both Peninsular Malaysia and Langkawi. New pricing for the base Eletre will be announced in due time as this variant will not be available until at least 2025.

Limited units are still available at the introductory price of RM998,800 on a first-come, first-served basis.

Meanwhile, the Emira V6 First Edition now costs RM1,289,000 in Peninsular Malaysia (up from RM1,205,800) and RM529,000 in Langkawi (up from RM478,800). World’s first all-electric Hyper-SUV

Adding a bold new dimension to the Lotus performance car portfolio, the Eletre takes the core principles and Lotus DNA from almost 75 years of sports car design and engineering, evolving them into a desirable all-new lifestyle model for the next generation of Lotus customers.

Packed with performance-focused technology, including the most advanced active aerodynamics package on any production SUV, the Lotus Eletre delivers outstanding ride and handling, highly communicative steering and exceptional driver engagement.

All three variants – the Eletre, Eletre S and Eletre R – come with a dual-motor electric all-wheel-drive (AWD) powertrain. The base Eletre and Eletre S deliver 603 hp and 710 Nm of torque with 0-100 km/h performance of 4.5 seconds, 80-120 km/h in less than 2.2 seconds and top speeds of 258 km/h.

The flagship Eletre R offers an impressive output of 905 hp and 985 Nm of torque. Capable of delivering a century sprint time of just 2.95 seconds and an acceleration of 80-120 km/h in less than 1.9 seconds with a top speed of 265 km/h, it is currently the world’s fastest dual-motor pure electric SUV.

All three versions also feature a 112 kWh battery, which enables a maximum WLTP driving range of 600 km for the Eletre and Eletre S and a WLTP range of 490 km for the Eletre R.

Built on Lotus’ all-new and highly versatile 800-volt Electric Premium Architecture (EPA) and equipped with a 350 kW fast charger, the Eletre is capable of achieving a rapid charging time of 10-80 percent in just 20 minutes. It also comes with the ability as standard to accept 22kW AC charging.

The Lotus Eletre comes with a five-year / 150,000 km manufacturer’s warranty, while the battery comes with an eight-year / 200,000 km warranty.

An everyday sports car with exotic supercar appeal

The Emira is a mid-engine premium sports car that features all the hallmarks that the automotive world has come to expect from a Lotus – striking design, thrilling dynamic performance delivering best-in-class ride and handling, outstanding aerodynamics and an unrivalled experience ‘For The Drivers’.

Building on the legacy of Elise, Exige and Evora, the Emira represents a quantum leap forward for Lotus. Those instantly recognisable brand signatures and core values have been combined with a paradigm shift in levels of practicality, comfort, functionality and technology.

The most powerful four-cylinder from Lotus, the Emira i4 features the turbocharged 2.0-litre aluminium engine and eight-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT) sourced from Mercedes-AMG. It delivers 360 bhp and 430 Nm of torque and is capable of achieving 0-100 km/h in 4.4 seconds with a top speed of 290 km/h.

The Emira V6, which is powered by a 3.5-litre supercharged petrol V6 engine, produces 400 bhp with 420 Nm of torque for the manual version and 430 Nm for the automatic option.

All variants of the Lotus Emira come with a three-year unlimited mileage manufacturer’s warranty.
