MINI has announced the locally assembled of the MINI Countryman S ALL4, petrol-powered variant, for the Malaysia market.
The MINI Countryman S ALL4 showcases a unique design with an upright shape, wider stance, short overhangs, a compact hood, and a long wheelbase with large wheels. The front features an octagonal grille flanked by LED headlights, which include a high-beam assistant and three adjustable light patterns. The side profile has a smoothly integrated roofline that flows into the C-pillar, and a distinctive black band enhances its modern look. The traditional body division is highlighted by the new design style and 20-inch two-tone Windmill Spoke wheels. The taller roof adds to its bold presence, while the rear features flush LED taillights with three different light signatures.
The MINI Countryman S ALL4’s interior also comes furnished with the Favoured Trim.
Meanwhile, the overall spacious interior of the New MINI Countryman S ALL4 also comes furnished with the Favoured Trim. The cabin features a limited number of high-quality components, ensuring comfort through warm materials, particularly two-tone recycled polyester fabric. The dashboard of the MINI Countryman S ALL4 offers an expansive forward view without an instrument cluster, displaying driving information on the MINI Head-Up Display and allowing access to functions via a touch-sensitive center icon or voice control. It includes a unique 240-mm round OLED display with projectors to enhance the immersive experience through the New MINI Experience Modes.
Also, the MINI Countryman S ALL4 has John Cooper Works sport seats, with an active seat for the driver. Both front seats feature high-quality vegan leather on the sides and come with electrically adjustable settings, memory, and a massage function for the driver seat. Front passengers enjoy almost 3 cm more width in the shoulder and elbow areas compared to the previous model, along with a wide central armrest. The rear seats provide added comfort with an extra 2.5 cm of shoulder width, and each can be adjusted in 6 positions, including a tilt of up to 12 degrees for personalized comfort. Additionally, the rear seats have a sliding adjustment option, allowing for more legroom or additional boot space.
The MINI Countryman S ALL4 includes comfort access, a Comfort Package Plus rear-view mirror with auto anti-dazzle, an anthracite headliner, and a 12-speaker Harman Kardon Surround Sound System. It has a luggage capacity of 505 litres, which can be expanded to 1530 litres.
Go-Kart Feeling with Enhanced Offroad Presence.
The all-wheel drive MINI Countryman S ALL4 has a wider track and longer wheelbase, along with a quality damping system and strong anti-roll bars, it provides the signature MINI go-kart feel. It’s equipped with a next-gen ALL4 system that monitors road conditions and adjusts torque quickly for better grip and fuel efficiency. The 2.0-litre turbocharged engine produces 204 hp and 300 Nm of torque, allowing it to go from 0-100 km/h in 7.4 seconds and reach a top speed of 228 km/h.
Modern Connectivity and Digital Comfort.
Digital connectivity in the MINI Countryman S ALL4 uses the MINI Operating System 9, combining functional and emotional aspects in a unique MINI way. The circular OLED display shows both static and moving elements, while micro-animations make it easier for the driver to interact with the central display. A fixed status bar at the bottom lets users quickly select options like “Navigation,” “Media,” “Telephony,” “All Apps,” “Entertainment,” and “Home.” The upper part of the screen shows driving information such as speed and important vehicle updates. Driver and passenger air conditioning settings are found on the left and right sides of the display, and can be adjusted by touch or voice commands.
Also part of the MINI Countryman S ALL4’s features, the MINI Connected Package allows you to access a growing range of useful and fun apps through an app store. The MINI Intelligent Personal Assistant is the first voice assistant from MINI, allowing you to control navigation, calls, entertainment, and more with your voice. The MINI App offers functions like Remote 3D View, Remote Engine Start, and MyTrips. You can also use the MINI Digital Key Plus through the app, which lets your smartphone act as a car key. This key can be shared digitally, making car sharing easier.
For safety and assistance while driving, the New MINI Countryman S ALL4 comes with Driving Assistant as standard. This includes features like Lane Change Warning, Lane Departure Warning with steering help, Speed Limit Info, Cruise Control with braking, and various collision warnings. Parking Assistant Plus is also included, offering Park Assist, a reversing assistant, and more. The option for Driving Assistant Plus is also available, adding features like Active cruise control and Lane Control Assistant.
