LLVision launched Leion Hey2 at CES 2026; the World’s First Professional AR Translation Glasses

LLVision has introduced the Leion Hey2 at CES 2026. These are the first AI-powered augmented reality (AR) translation glasses, officially launched in the United States.

The Leion Hey2 supports over 100 languages and dialects. It translates speech in under 500 milliseconds and can provide continuous translation for six to eight hours on a single charge. The glasses show real-time subtitles in the user’s field of vision, allowing conversations to feel natural and smooth.

“This is what translation really means to us,” said Dr. Wu Fei, founder and CEO of LLVision. “It’s not just about words. It’s about giving people the freedom to speak, to connect, and to be truly understood.”

Founded in 2014, LLVision has spent over ten years creating AI and AR solutions for real-world multilingual communication.

As communication transcends borders, translation technology is increasingly prevalent, yet often detracts from human interaction. While smartphones and earbuds disconnect users from their environments, Leion Hey2 prioritizes real-time, face-to-face conversation. Unlike other smart glasses that treat translation as a secondary feature, Hey2 is built around it, providing real-time subtitles right in the wearer’s line of sight for fluid conversations.

Supporting over 100 languages with sub-500 millisecond latency, Hey2 ensures that translation is seamless, maintaining the natural flow of dialogue. With a battery life of six to eight hours for continuous use and up to 96 hours with the charging case, Hey2 is designed to meet the demands of professional environments, making it ideal for meetings, conferences, and multilingual settings.

Conversations remain natural with subtitles in the wearer’s field of view, as seen in Leion Hey2. An optical AR head-up display shows subtitles where conversations occur, eliminating the need for devices or looking down. This preserves eye contact and conversational flow. Waveguide optics and a micro-LED light engine ensure clear text under various lighting conditions, minimizing distractions while enhancing readability. With constant subtitle visibility, Hey2 also facilitates real-time captioning for Deaf and hard-of-hearing users, improving accessibility without extra tools.

Face-to-face conversation is the primary use case for real-time translation, and Hey2 is tailored for this. In Free Talk mode, it prioritizes the person you are facing, emphasizing voices within a 60-degree forward range while suppressing side conversations and ambient noise for clear translation. A four-microphone array detects the active speaker’s direction, and proprietary beamforming with neural noise reduction isolates speech in real-time, ensuring accuracy in various settings.

By aligning audio pickup with natural posture, Hey2 keeps translation intuitive and focused. Hey2 features an AI Q&A option for quick, contextual inquiries in real-world settings. To use it, press and hold the right touchpad, ask a question naturally, then release to view the answer. This hands-free interaction is ideal for museums, exhibitions, city walks, and travel stops. The AI in Hey2 is designed to be unobtrusive, providing knowledge on demand and stepping back to support natural communication in real time.

Weighing just 49 grams, Hey2 seamlessly blends into daily life with a lightweight magnesium-alloy frame, adjustable titanium nose pads, and a classic browline silhouette. Its stepless spring hinge adapts to different face shapes, ensuring comfort throughout the day.

Hey2 avoids typical smart glasses signals by not including a camera or external speakers, using audio input solely for translation. This discretion makes it suitable for professional, educational, and diplomatic settings.

Data processing aligns with GDPR privacy principles, supported by secure cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure. Users can review, manage, or delete their translation history at any time.

The result: AR glasses that resemble everyday eyewear, providing real-time translation without drawing attention or raising privacy concerns.

Leion Hey2 has been validated in real-world environments where accuracy and reliability are crucial. In 2025, it was showcased at the United Nations Accessibility for All Exhibition, facilitating multilingual communication in diplomatic settings. The technology was involved in award-winning accessibility research, contributing to a project recognized by the AIS Impact Award 2025.

The first-generation Leion Hey has shipped over 30,000 units globally, with users averaging 150 minutes of daily use, and was among the UNESCO Netexplo Innovation Award Top 10. Hey2’s launch in Seoul resulted in over 10,000 pre-orders in one day, highlighting strong demand for practical translation devices.

Pricing and Availability

Leion Hey2 is now available for order in the United States through LLVision’s official online store, priced at USD 549. From January 6 to January 31, customers can pre-order Leion Hey2 at USD 499. Pre-order purchases include a clip-on sunglass lens and 1,200 minutes of Pro translation service.
