Lenovo has announced their new consumer devices ahead of the CES 2023 which aims to deliver standout features and enhancements designed to help people connect with their passions and achieve their daily goals. With five new performance-driving and portable IdeaPad laptops, a sleek and compact IdeaCentre desktop, and a 9-inch Lenovo tablet, these devices are designed for all the spaces and places in line with the on-the-go lifestyle of today’s consumer.

IdeaPad Pro 5i and IdeaPad Pro 5
The new IdeaPad Pro 5i and IdeaPad Pro 5 Gen 8 will be offered in two color variations, Arctic Grey and Frost Blue. It is also available in two optional screen sizes,14-inch and 16-inch.
Performance on the device is exceptional thanks to an increased thermal performance and pairing with the latest Intel Processor or AMD Ryzen processors and up to an NVIDIA GeForce Next-Gen Laptop GPU. User can expect faster performance whether creating content, light gaming, or just transferring large data files.
Not only that, it also has additional features such as a 25% larger touch pad for a better navigation experience, an FHD IR camera with a Time of Flight (ToF) sensor, and smart login with Windows Hello. The laptops also come with an SSD expandable storage slot (available on the 16-inch model), allowing more data to be stored. Equipped with USB 4.0 and Thunderbolt 4.0 ports, users can enjoy faster data transfer and increased productivity.
For display, the 16-inch IdeaPad Pro 5i and IdeaPad Pro 5 gets an all-new Dynamic Display Switch, which enhances the panels’ frames per second. It offers refresh rates of up to 120Hz, QHD+ display resolution, a 16:10 aspect ratio, 90% AAR and 100% sRGB color space. The display also offers Eyesafe Certified low blue light display, which may help with eye comfort and the new physical privacy shutter adds another layer of safety to the experience.
Both models also offers extra hours of battery life on a 15-minute charge and Smart Power feature helps to adjust and enhance performance within an intelligent power and cooling mode to deliver adaptive performance, battery life, and thermals based on real usage.
Maintaining the company’s sustainability effort, the IdeaPad Pro 5i and IdeaPad Pro 5 laptops’ bottom cover is made of 50% recycled aluminum. Lenovo’s CO2 Offset Services are also now available across the IdeaPad product range.
IdeaPad Slim 5i and IdeaPad Slim 5
For the IdeaPad Slim 5i and IdeaPad Slim 5 Gen 8, the larger 16-inch screen size will offer up to 2.5K resolution, while the 14-inch comes with a FHD OLED display and up to 2.2K resolution. Both screen sizes come complete with 90% AAR and 100% DCI-P3. The display brightness on the 14-inch screen can goes up to 400 nits brightness to allow users to work anywhere, including outside on sunny days. The display also has TÜV Rheinland low blue light-certified display for eye safety. An upgraded FHD infrared camera offers more accurate imaging, and the introduction of a physical privacy shutter is another appealing feature for students and working professionals.
Both models are powered by the latest Intel Core and AMD Ryzen 7000 processors and paired with two full function USB Type-C ports. The IdeaPad Slim 5i and IdeaPad Slim 5 also offers a larger touchpad for productivity and ease-of-use without having to lift their fingers. Both models are offered in 3 colours – Violet, Cloud Grey, and Abyss Blue.

IdeaPad Flex 3i Chromebook (12”, 8)
The new IdeaPad Flex 3i Chromebook (12”, 8) now comes in a lightly larger screen than the previous generation, but with the flexibility to do more while on the go. You can used it as a laptop or tablet that’s held or made to stand in tent-mode, on a table or desk.
WIth the long battery life of up to 12 hours1, TÜV Rheinland low blue light certification, optional backlit keyboard, taller screen with 16:10 aspect ratio, and ergonomic drop-hinge feature that lifts the keyboard 15 degrees, you can use the device for work, study, and play experience.
The Chromebook features an option of HD or FHD camera with physical shutter, as well as a designated mute key for privacy. For performance, the IdeaPad Flex 3i Chromebook (12”, 8) is packing an improved CPU performance from the latest N-series Intel Processor , two user-facing speakers tuned by Waves’ MaxxAudio and faster connectivity via Wi-Fi 6E.
