LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort makes into the Malaysia Book of Records with the World’s Longest LEGO Snake

LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort has made hisss-tory after successfully completed the “World’s Longest LEGO Snake”, earning the official award from the Malaysia Book of Records and breaking its own record from 2013.

Stretching 338 meters long, the LEGO Snake was a fantastic teamwork project. It was designed by Merlin Magic Making (MMM) and built at LEGOLAND Malaysia. The project started with important parts like a strong tree trunk, a detailed snake head, and the first body segments, all created by a dedicated team of Model Builders from MMM and LEGOLAND Malaysia’s first Master Model Builder. Over a month, more than 5,000 LEGO fans and visitors of all ages added their own touches to this amazing creation, completing the snake’s impressive shape.

Made from over 1 million LEGO bricks in different shapes, sizes, and colors, the beautiful LEGO Snake wraps around the park’s Beginning Area, giving visitors a colorful welcome.

“We’re incredibly proud of this achievement, especially because this was built together as a community. Our LEGO Snake stands as a symbol of creativity, inclusivity, and collaboration, which is something we have always strived to inspire here at LEGOLAND Malaysia. It has been incredibly heart-warming watching thousands of our guests contribute their own unique styles to this build, and I hope everyone who participated will have fond memories of their experience in helping set this world record,” said CS Lim, Vice President of LEGOLAND Malaysia.

The World’s Longest LEGO Snake is on display at LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort until 4th March, so don’t miss your chance to see it! Visitors can also enjoy Lunar New Year celebrations at LEGOLAND Malaysia until 23rd February, with live performances, Ninja adventures, and more LEGO fun.
