LEGOLAND Malaysia invites visitors to build the World’s Longest LEGO Snake for this Year of the Snake Lunar New Year celebration

LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort is celebrating the Lunar New Year in a big way, from 16th January to 23rd February 2025, and inviting visitors to builds World’s Longest LEGO Snake. There will be lots of fun including exciting performances, special guests, festive activities, and lucky giveaways.

The main highlight for the 2025 Lunar New Year celebration is the special snake-building challenge. Over ten years ago, LEGOLAND Malaysia set a world record by building the longest LEGO Snake with the help of more than 5,000 guests, measuring 318 meters. Now, they are aiming to build a new record of a 338-meter-long magical Wood Snake! Everyone, both kids and adults, can help with this amazing build using over 1 million LEGO bricks. Come see the giant LEGO Snake wrap around the park’s Beginning Area and add your own personal touch to this creation!

Huat a Show!

Prepare to be amazed by daily live performances at the Beginning Area Festive Stage! 

  • Lunar New Year Opening Show: A stunning mix of traditional Chinese cultural dance and martial arts to kick off the festivities, featuring none other than Ollie the Dragon! 
  • Beats of Celebration: Experience the powerful beats of traditional Chinese drumming seamlessly blended with the grace of Chinese heritage dance, showcasing the perfect harmony of rhythm and movement.  
  • Farewell Show: Wrap each day with a spectacular performance!

On weekends and during Gala Week (29th January to 2nd February), the lineup of shows gets even more vibrant with special cultural showcases not to be missed! Catch the energetic Dragon Dance, welcome new year blessings from the Lion Dance, be awed by the Stilt Walkers, watch the enchanting Face Changing performances, and more.

Ninjas, Go!

Attention, ninjas – it’s time to complete your training at the LEGO NINJAGO World! Show off your creative skills and complete your ninja identity by designing and building your LEGO Ninja Eyes. Then head over to the Ninja Workshop to train with Master Wu and learn special martial arts moves to unleash your power!

Festive Adventures for the Family

Embark on a brick-tastic adventure through LEGOLAND Malaysia! Join the LEGO Building Class led by our first-ever Master Model Builder and learn how to build your very own LEGO Snake. Don’t forget to keep an eye out while you’re wandering throughout the park – there are 12 Chinese Zodiac minifigures hidden in the Beginning Area and Miniland, so find them all to win a grand prize!

Strike your best ninja post with your favourite LEGO NINJAGO characters, Sora, Arin, and Master Wu! You can also catch Ollie the Dragon in his special Lunar New Year best – he’s dressed just for the occasion!

During the Gala Week (29th January to 2nd February), explore the fine art of Chinese calligraphy and see how quickly you can master the intricate brush techniques and characters.
