This school holiday season, Kuala Lumpur will transform into a city-sized playground as the LEGO MY Play Festival brings the iconic KLCC precinct to life from 21 May to 7 June 2026. The festival features immersive builds, interactive play zones, and Southeast Asia’s first-ever Suria KLCC x LEGO “Play Run 2026,” making it Malaysia’s biggest LEGO celebration.

Designed for all ages, the festival promotes hands-on play, aligning with Suria KLCC’s mental and physical well-being initiative. By integrating the energetic Suria KLCC x LEGO “Run in the Park” event and the “Safe Space” at the Park Mall Entrance, it emphasizes the importance of physical play and mental health support for overall wellness.
Addressing the shift toward digital play, the LEGO MY Play Festival encourages families to reconnect through real-world experiences, collaborative activities, storytelling, and physical play, fostering creativity and memorable connections.
“While digital devices are an integral part of modern childhood, this festival showcases how hands-on discovery with LEGO bricks fosters creativity, learning, and meaningful connection,” said Nina Patricia Da Costa, General Manager of Singapore, Malaysia, and APAC Travel Retail of the LEGO Group.
“The LEGO MY Play Festival is a celebration of imagination inspired by Malaysian culture. We hope families will take this opportunity to slow down, connect, and create together as they step into an immersive, real-life LEGO world, where ideas and dreams come to life,” she added. “We are also deeply grateful to Suria KLCC for their partnership and support in bringing this experience to life at one of Kuala Lumpur’s most iconic landmarks, where families and visitors can come together and experience the joy of LEGO and play.”
Francis Tan, Executive Director and CEO of Suria KLCC Sdn Bhd, said, “At Suria KLCC, we have always pushed the boundaries of what a retail space can be by delivering world-class experiential events that truly resonate with our visitors. This partnership with The LEGO Group is a prime example of how we intentionally collaborate with our retailers to play a much larger, more impactful role in the community. By tying LEGO’s philosophy of play into our annual mental and physical health initiative, we are turning a school holiday event into something far more meaningful. LEGO is just the first of many major brands we plan to collaborate with in this format, as we continue to redefine how retail destinations can drive positive social impact.”
The City’s Ultimate Playground
Spanning locations in the Suria KLCC precinct, the LEGO MY Play Festival features interactive play zones inspired by fantasy worlds and iconic city sights.
Suria KLCC Centre Court: Discover Kuala Lumpur, the LEGO Way

Visitors will see a beautiful LEGO version of Kuala Lumpur’s skyline, featuring a big display of the Petronas Twin Towers. The backdrop includes the KL Tower, Merdeka 118, and Merdeka Square, along with fun LEGO food stalls inspired by local pasar malam culture. Notable features include the first-ever 3D LEGO model of a teh tarik seller pouring tea, and a 3D LEGO durian seller.
In addition to the skyline, the Centre Court offers four exciting, hands-on themed experiences based on LEGO Friends, NINJAGO, Creator, and City:
- LEGO Friends Experience: Step into a vibrant, dollhouse-inspired play zone based on the 42676 Fun At The Waterpark set. Highlights include a life-sized slide into a ball pit “splash zone”, a spinning fountain-style merry-go-round, and a hands-on brick pit filled with hidden LEGO animals.
- LEGO Ninjago Experience: Enter a life-sized recreation inspired by the 71866 Ninja Character Display set. Explore a striking monastery photo spot, a tranquil tea room with themed details, and take part in interactive battles as Ninjagos, Arin or Ras, using LEGO minifigures and spinners.
- LEGO Creator Experience: Immerse in a colourful carnival-inspired space anchored by a rotating Ferris wheel model from the 31389 Iconic Ferris Wheel set, complete with lights, motion, and playful displays. Kids can also build and showcase the LEGO ice cream of their dreams.
- LEGO City Experience: Explore a bustling pizza factory inspired by the 60496 Pizza Delivery Service set, where children can craft their own LEGO pizza creations with colourful brick “ingredients” and pile on as many imaginative toppings as they want.
To enhance the experience, the event will have a LEGO Minifigure Converter zone in the Centre Court. Visitors can take a photo of themselves and create a custom digital LEGO minifigure with the event’s logo in the background. The image serves as a fun keepsake for visitors to take home from the festival.
Esplanade, KLCC Park: The LEGO Football Play Arena

Football fans can explore a LEGO Football Play Arena at the Esplanade. With a tunnel entrance, stadium lights, and crowd sounds, it brings the thrill of game day to life.
Inspired by the excitement for the FIFA World Cup 2026, this outdoor space mixes the fun of football with LEGO creativity. It offers a fun place for families where sports, imagination, and entertainment come together.
Visitors can take part in activities like making a LEGO trophy, playing Human Foosball, and taking pictures with an 8-foot LEGO football inspired by the 43019 Football set. There’s also a FIFA trophy display modeled after the 43020 FIFA World Cup™ Official Trophy set, along with new LEGO sets featuring global football stars like Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappé, and Vini Jr.
