At the core of the DENZA Z9GT is the innovative e3 Platform, the brand’s most advanced vehicle architecture and the first in a DENZA model.
Powered by a Tri-motor AWD system with up to 850 kW, 1,156 PS, and 1,210 Nm of torque, the Z9GT can go from standing still to the century sprint in just 2.7 seconds and offers a driving range of up to 701 km (NEDC) on electric power alone. This blend of supercar speed and long-distance range lets drivers experience thrilling acceleration while maintaining everyday practicality.
Yet the e3 Platform offers much more than just performance. It changes how the vehicle handles during daily driving. The rear axle can steer up to 15°, and it has an impressive turning radius of just 4.62 meters, making it easy to move around in tight city spaces, narrow streets, and small parking spots. Features like e3 Parking, Crab Mode, Pencil Compass Turn, and Vehicle Motion Control (VMC) improve agility and precision, allowing the vehicle to navigate in ways that regular cars can’t.

Combining wit the e3 Platform is BYD’s latest Second Generation Blade Battery 2.0, sets to deliver greater convenience, higher efficiency and uncompromising safety.
With a 122.49 kWh battery using a 1,000 V high voltage setup, the Z9GT features BYD Flash Charging Technology. This allows it to charge from 10% to 70% in just 5 minutes, and from 10% to 97% in 9 minutes. This fast charging improves the experience of owning an electric vehicle (EV) by reducing waiting time and helping to ease concerns about running out of battery.
The battery also has about 5% more energy storage than the previous version, while still meeting the high safety standards of the BYD Blade Battery line. It has passed rigorous tests, including a nail penetration test, proving its excellent stability and safety even in extreme conditions.

The DENZA Z9GT will be launched in Malaysia on 15 July 2026. After the launch, you can see and test drive the All-New DENZA Z9GT at all DENZA Premium showrooms across the country starting from 16 July 2026.
To support this launch, BYD Malaysia will start installing BYD Flash Charging stations at selected DENZA Premium showrooms. This shows the brand’s dedication to providing a smooth luxury experience and promoting premium electric vehicles.
