Lazada Malaysia has recently held its first Lazada Seller Summit 2024 at One World Hotel to recognize top sellers in various categories such as fashion & beauty, home & living, electronics, and groceries. The event honoured over 40 sellers for their growth and success on the platform with awards. The summit, attended by over 1,000 sellers from Malaysia, featured programs on topics like digital marketing, logistics, and customer engagement to help sellers enhance their businesses in the digital landscape. Lazada’s CEO, Kaya Qin, emphasized the company’s commitment to empowering sellers for success in eCommerce.
The event was officiated by Malaysian Minister of Digital, YB Tuan Gobind Singh Deo, who praised Lazada’s role in supporting sellers and urged the platform to continue facilitating eCommerce growth. International brands like Dyson, HP, and Samsung, along with local brands such as Montigo and Senheng, were recognized for their achievements. Sellers like ALDO and Pop Mart were also awarded for their success on the platform. Winners like Adam Zero and Bite a Snack were acknowledged for their product quality and growth on Lazada.
Timmy Kok, owner of Adam Zero, shared how Lazada’s support helped him succeed as a seller. He emphasized the importance of sharing knowledge with other sellers to foster growth and build a supportive community. Dixon Chai, owner of Bite a Snack and winner of the Emerging Seller award, highlighted his journey from humble beginnings to a thriving business on Lazada, with a focus on customer relationships and product quality.
These awards reflect sellers’ commitment to excellence, innovation, and customer satisfaction, setting benchmarks for future achievements.
