“We are grateful and honoured to be recognized as the Employer of Choice and Best Place to Work by leading human resource organisations and publications such as GRADUAN and HR Asia. Our people – the Lazadians are the backbone of our eCommerce presence here in Malaysia; they are the driving force that enables our organisational growth, business success and exceptional milestones that we have achieved over the past 10 years. This is why we will continue to invest in our human capital and people development, as we strongly believe that they bring our purpose, impact and inspiration to life. The awards are dedicated to all Lazadians that work endlessly, in order to deliver an engaging online shopping journey and differentiated customer experience,” said Azian Ahmad, Chief People Officer, Lazada Malaysia.

Azian further shared that part of Lazada Malaysia’s people development initiatives is to identify and empower future-fit talents and leaders that can add value to their personal career growth and the community. Lazada’s ‘Forward Leaders Programme’ was designed to attract fresh talents from diverse backgrounds and to create wider inclusion across the organisation. The programme also fosters the entrepreneurial spirit with strong digital skills and advocates gradual upskilling, hence empowering employees to thrive and reach their maximum potential.
