Key takeaway on Lambretta

Lambretta, founded in 1947, aimed to create a vehicle that was easy to drive, suitable for both men and women, and could be dressed up without compromising style. The company has since introduced various models, each designed to be affordable and chic. Early models featured a unique suspension system with independent front and rear wheels and a two-stroke engine. However, the enclosed engine and streamlined bodywork set Lambretta apart from conventional motorcycles. This design captured the public’s imagination and propelled Lambretta’s success beyond Italy.

Today, Lambretta remains emblematic of the Mod subculture, embodying the Italian-inspired style of that era. The new era of Lambretta scooters combines elegance, functionality, and timeless aesthetics, offering a harmonious blend of nostalgia and modernity. The new models pay homage to Lambretta’s historic roots while showcasing a unique monocoque architecture, showcasing sophistication and strength. These models exude elegance and exclusivity, representing the zenith of Lambretta’s scooter lineage.
