Superball Inc., the operation company of the AKB48 Overseas Sister Groups, has officially announced the latest overseas girl group “KLP48” in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The group will officially start as the 10th AKB48 Overseas Sister Group from 1 January 1, 2024 and will be handled by 48 ENTERTAINMENT SDN. BHD.
48 ENTERTAINMENT SDN. BHD. will be spearheaded by Jun Hiraguchi as CEO, who signed a license agreement with Superball Inc for KLP48. Apart from that, it was announced that Nariaki Terada of Superball Inc. has been appointed as the General Producer of the overseas 48 sister groups.
