Kirin Brewery Company, Limited (Kirin Brewery) has announced the creation of a new company in Malaysia called KIRIN BREWERY SOUTHEAST ASIA SDN. BHD. (KBSEA) to strengthen its business and support growth in Southeast Asia. This new company will start operations on Wednesday, 1 October 2025.
The alcoholic beverage market in Southeast Asia is growing due to population and economic growth. Kirin operates in the region through its subsidiary, Kirin Holdings Singapore Pte. Limited. To take advantage of this growth, Kirin Brewery is setting up a local company and relocating some functions there. This will improve decision-making and allow faster responses to local consumer needs.

KBSEA will develop marketing strategies and brand initiatives in Southeast Asia, while partnering with local distributors to establish a strong business in the region.
