Jameson is launching a new campaign called Jameson REWIND in Malaysia, which celebrates epic moments and meaningful encounters that bring people closer together. The campaign aims to break through barriers and savour chance encounters and unplanned moments that spark friendships for life. On 22 June 2024, Jameson will host a house party at The GoDown KL, featuring specially curated rooms offering different activities and entertainment.
The Yard on the ground floor offers delicious party bites, including childhood snacks and a Jameson Black Barrel-infused Ais Kacang Ball. Upstairs, the Gamer Den offers retro arcade games, hair styling, temporary tattoo stations, and a tarot card reading. The Attic, also known as The Black Barrel Room, features an all-DJ lineup featuring DJ Misty, MJ, and DJ Reeve.
The main event is the Living Room Live, featuring a stellar setlist of 90s and 2000s favorites performed by local talents in the music industry. The lineup includes EMO NIGHT KL, CLAUDIA, TY:DEL, The Peachskins, Saint Kylo, LOST SPACES, The Filters, and Merakki. Soak in the nostalgic vibes all while sipping on special cocktails inspired by ‘flavours from the past’ created by Angel Ng from Triptyk Bar, and designed to transport you back with those good vibes from your childhood, one sip at a time.
Ten lucky winners will have exclusive VIP access to the party, including a VIP table with limited-edition merchandise and food and drink vouchers. Jameson REWIND is hosting 21 lead-up events and exclusive retail promotions in Klang Valley, Penang, Ipoh, Johor Bahru, and East Malaysia from now until June. An epic all-expenses-paid, three-day all-inclusive trip to Jameson home base, the Middleton Distillery in Ireland. Not one, but TWO winners will be selected for this incredible journey and will get to participate in the legendary Jameson HOSTS Summit.

Video submissions will be evaluated for three things:
(1) Drink Concept and Presentation: Put your creativity to the test and share your story and inspiration behind your concoction.

(3) Video Creativity: Your creativity shouldn’t just stop with the recipe – let your personality shine and show us your own personal style and brand.
Five finalists will be shortlisted to compete for the final challenge at the Jameson REWIND Party happening at The Godown KL. The panel of judges includes Angel Ng, an award-winning bartender and female pioneer of the Malaysian cocktail scene, Jon Lee, the legend behind Penrose KL, and Thanesh Kumar, Jameson’s Global Champion of the Jameson Black Barrel Bartenders competition in 2023.
Angel Ng, co-founder of PS150, is now crafting wonders at Triptyk, one of the first few bars advocating low ABV cocktails. Jon Lee, the legend behind Penrose KL, has climbed Asia’s 50 Best Bars ranks within its first year of opening. Thanesh Kumar, who is also the Global Champion of the Jameson Black Barrel Bartenders competition in 2023, is known for his charm and passion for Penang’s hottest bar, Backdoor Bodega.
