WeTV has wrapped up 2023 by unveiling a celebrity mentor lineup for ‘CHUANG ASIA,’ an international mega-project idol survival program. Set to be broadcast at The Pinnacle, 8th floor ICONSIAM, the celebrity mentor lineup will include Jackson Wang as the Lead Mentor together with Mike Angelo, Jeff Satur, TEN, and Nene Pornnappan, who share their insights for the new talents to transform into Thailand’s international talented idols.
According to the show organizers, the program has received positive feedback shortly after its launch and out of 9,000 new-generation applicants from across Thailand and abroad, 70 finalists have made it to the final round. “CHUANG ASIA” will begin broadcasting in February 2024 via WeTV.

A word of encouragement: From mentors to trainees

I’ll share my experience and assist them in their journey to find themselves,” said Jackson Wang, an international artist and co-founder of RYCE Entertainment, who jointly produces CHUANG ASIA THAILAND with WeTV. He is set to take on the role of Lead Mentor, bringing his wealth of experience and guidance to the aspiring talents.
All-rounder idol “Mike Angelo” who has become popular in China and Hollywood said “I’m extremely excited to participate in this program as it is my first time as a mentor for an idol survival show. I believe I could use my experiences as an artist since childhood, insights on how to adapt to various cultures and how to work in the entertainment industry as a guideline for CHUANG ASIA trainees. Jeff Satur, an internationally recognized vocal artist with unique voice and over 10 years of experiences in the music industry, said “It’s my honor to be part of the mentor team for CHUANG ASIA whose production takes place in Thailand for the first time. TEN, a Thai K-pop idol known for his exceptional dance skills in the world-famous boy group WayV, who is gaining popularity worldwide, said, “I understand the intensity of becoming an idol and know that the70 trainees are following their dreams to become artists. I will do my best as a mentor and will give them advice and encouragement as best as I can. Please show them your support.”
Nene – Pornnappan, a Thai artist and 4th runner-up from CHUANG 2020 who became a mentor in CHUANG 2021 and now one of mentor team in CHUANG ASIA, said “I am delighted to become part of CHUANG again. It’s like a homecoming journey for me. As for CHUANG ASIA, the program is special in many ways: the first production in Thailand and myself as the only female mentor. I will share all my experiences to all the trainees so that they are ready to hit the road and conquer all the obstacles.”
