Impeccable Vintage Properties Sdn. Bhd. (IVP), part of Khazanah Nasional Berhad, has officially opened its aerospace facilities at IVP Complex, Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport (SZB). This event marks the start of its main hangar, which will provide Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) services.
This achievement is an important step in Malaysia’s aerospace development and shows IVP’s dedication to make Selangor and Malaysia a top choice for aviation businesses in the region. It also supports Malaysia’s goal of becoming a key MRO hub in Southeast Asia, as outlined in the Malaysia Aerospace Blueprint 2030.

The ceremony was led by YAB Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari, Menteri Besar of Selangor, and was attended by YB Ng Sze Han, Selangor EXCO for Investment, Trade and Mobility. Notable industry leaders, including Datuk Hisham Hamdan, Chief Investment Officer of Khazanah Nasional Berhad, were also present.

Mr. Abdul Offar Musa, Chief Executive Officer of IVP, stated that the opening reflects IVP’s mission to enable industry growth through a robust ecosystem where our partners and tenants can benefit from network effects and strategic collaborations.
“With IVP Complex now operational, we are well-positioned to leverage the current momentum and robust demand for hangar capacity. Beyond providing physical infrastructure, our focus is on delivering industry-ready facilities that are well equipped for operational use that will enhance Malaysia’s competitiveness as a regional MRO hub,” said Mr. Abdul Offar.

The upgrade of these facilities shows that there is global trust in Subang as an important aerospace hub. This development is set to bring in top international companies, create skilled jobs, and boost the local economy.
IVP Complex offers a top-notch aviation environment with specialized aircraft hangars operated by major players, including Malaysia Airlines Berhad Engineering Services (MABES) and Base Maintenance Malaysia (BMM). The complex also has an engine maintenance center that includes GE Aerospace Engine Services Malaysia (GEESM) – a top facility for LEAP engines. Additionally, SZB has its only dedicated engine ground run (EGR) bay, meant for testing engines while still on the aircraft and suitable for larger planes.
Work on the remaining hangar is currently in progress, aiming for completion by the end of 2026. This includes a specialized tele-platform and new hangar door systems. After this, the next phase will focus on more improvements at IVP Complex, along with opening a workshop and a storage facility for components.
IVP is committed to responsible development, using energy-efficient systems, better water management, and measures to prevent flooding.
