Specialty Lubricants Trading Sdn Bhd, the official partner of Ipone in Malaysia, has launched a new range of motorcycle engine oils during at their Japanese-inspired event. This event highlighted Ipone’s status as a top motorcycle lubricant brand under the Motul Group. They also announced that they received SIRIM certification, which ensures high quality and reliability for Malaysian riders.

Known for its advanced technology and high-quality products designed for motorcycles, the French brand aims to grow even more in Malaysia’s motorcycle market. The launch features Ipone’s improved engine oils, made with 100% PAO and ester base oils — the best available today. By mixing ester with these high-quality oils, Ipone provides excellent engine protection, top performance, and better efficiency for everyday riders, enthusiasts, and racers who push their bikes to the limit.

The product launch event gathered over 160 participants, including KPDN representatives, dealers, media, influencers, and staff from Ipone and MKA Group, Ipone’s new distributor in Peninsular Malaysia. Themed around Japanese manga culture, the evening included live caricature sessions, photo walls, DJ performances, and Japanese food stalls, celebrating Japanese culture and Malaysian motorcycle passion.

Zubir bin Hamsa, Director of the Intellectual Property Section at the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living (KPDN), shared during the event, “I had the privilege of visiting Ipone in France alongside SIRIM, where I witnessed firsthand the brand’s audit process and strong commitment to quality management.
