Infinix has officially launched the Infinix NOTE 50 Pro+ 5G and AI Buds for the Malaysia market.
The NOTE 50 Pro+ 5G features a MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Ultimate 5.5G processor with an AnTuTu score exceeding 1.45 million, surpassing the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ in benchmarks. It sports a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate for ultra-smooth visuals in games. Connectivity is enhanced with Super WiFi 2.0 and EDCA technology for uninterrupted gaming.
The NOTE 50 Pro+ 5G includes the XBOOST AI Gaming Engine, which improves gameplay with features like ZoneTouch Master for touch settings, Magic Voice Changer for fun communication, and AI Magic Box for automating tasks. It also has an Adaptive Thermal Management System and a VC heat dissipation module that helps lower device temperature by up to 10°C. Additionally, it offers an immersive audio experience with JBL dual speakers that enhance bass by 58%.
The device also comes with Infinix AI∞, an intelligent ecosystem built to elevate daily convenience. NOTE 50 Pro+ 5G also introduces the One-Tap Infinix AI∞, activated through a long press of the power button to launch Folax, an AI agent that supports both productivity and lifestyle needs. It also can perform AI features such as AI Recording Summary, Camera Q&A, and AI Writing Assistant.
New to the model series is the inclusion of the Bio-Active Halo AI Lighting feature, a futuristic health-focused feature offering real-time heart rate and blood oxygen monitoring via built-in sensors, blending wellness and tech into one smart experience.
The camera on the NOTE 50 Pro+ 5G has a 50MP periscope system with 6X digital zoom and 100X zoom capability, plus an 8MP ultra-wide sensor with a 112° lens, making it the first of its kind in the NOTE series. Features like Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), AI Super-Resolution, and Infinix’s AI RAW Image Processing improve photos with 50% better color accuracy, 30% less noise, and 40% sharper images.
The NOTE 50 Pro+ 5G features a 5200mAh battery with 100W FastCharge 3.0, allowing a full charge in just 32 minutes, and includes 50W wireless MagCharge. It comes with 256GB of storage and 12GB of RAM, expandable to 24GB, and is available in Titanium Grey, Enchanted Purple, and Racing Edition for RM1,599. Infinix AI Buds
Beyond the release of the NOTE 50 5G series, Infinix is also launching their AI Buds, a major advancement in audio technology. These new earbuds can help overcome language barriers by offering real-time translation in up to 162 languages, including languages like Hausa and Swahili, along with great sound quality, smart connectivity, and a battery life of up to 36 hours.
Using Infinix’s CogLabs AI, users can choose between three main translation modes: Dialogue Mode for face-to-face chats, Live Listening for translating audio while watching videos or in online classes, and Recording & Transcription for taking notes during meetings or lectures.
The audio quality is boosted with 10mm AI-tuned drivers, a high signal-to-noise ratio (≥90dB), and hybrid ANC + ENC technology that cancels noise by up to 45dB. Dual microphones provide clear communication in any setting, while the built-in Folax voice assistant can be activated by saying “Hi Folax” to help with playback, translation, or tasks hands-free. The transparent smart touchscreen charging case lets users control music, adjust volume, and even take photos without needing to grab their phone.
