
Infinix Malaysia has concluded its Infinix Esports Tournament Season 3, in collaboration with Honor of Kings (HOK) and MediaTek. Team Baba from Asia Pacific University (APU) has managed to emerge as the champion for the tournament, showcasing remarkable talent from universities across Malaysia and advancing the regional esports scene.
The tournament allowed young players to compete for a RM 10,000 prize pool, highlighting the potential of Malaysian university-level esports and the influence of technology on mobile gaming. Infinix’s GT 20 Pro was vital in enhancing the mobile gaming experience and supporting the esports community.
Infinix recently launched a game research laboratory in collaboration with Honor of Kings and MediaTek to enhance mobile gaming technology, focusing on optimizing performance and integrating AI features for players in emerging markets.
The tournament concluded with an exciting final where Team U Gen from Universiti Sains Malaysia competed against Team Baba from APU. After a fiercely contested match, Team Baba claimed the Season 3 championship, establishing themselves as one of Malaysia’s top university esports teams.
